These are some of your Chassis choices that are out there. There are many more and they range in Price so pick the one that is best suited for you. Some of the kits come with most items needed to convert your truck into a racer. There are some basic items used which we will list below. Be creative and make your own chassis. Working on the trucks is just as fun as racing them!!!
Items needed
CPE txt-1 missle chassis
Thunder Tech Twinforce EnForcer chassis
Tires You can use them stock or cut them for differant tread patterns like the full size monsters
Bearings Nothing makes your axles and tranny smoother!!!!!!! replace those plastic bushings
Steering There are many differant designs of steering out there. They will help improve steering over stock.
Rear steer lockout Only needed on trucks that come with rear steer unless you want to try your hand at a little four wheel steer action.
Upper four link mounts Mostly a clod item, it gives you a place to mount those upper four link bars.
adjustable motor mounts Mostly a clod item, they will allow you to use differant pinion sizes to fine tune performance.
Our intentions of this page is not to sway you in any direction to a certain manufacturer, but to give you an idea of where to start. Items like motors, shocks, and battery packs, we feel is more of a trial and error thing with the way you drive your monster. We hope that you enjoy this page and if you have any comments or questions please send them to us on the contact wood brothers page. Happy Racing!!!!!!!
